Hyderabad, Oct 10 : A memorial meeting would be held on October 11 in the memory of famous social activist U. Sambasiva rao (USA) who is famous as USA among the people of Telugu speaking states. Rao died on July 25 after becoming the victim of Covid- 19 virus. The meeting will be held at JBE trust Bhavan in Durga Nagar of Karmanghat. He was a member of Democratic Students Organization, and later became a full time member of Unity Centre of Communist Revolutionaries of India (Marxist-Leninist) of which Communist stalwart Tarimela Nagi Reddy was an important functionary.
The former judge of high court Justice Chandra Kumar Dugyala Ashok CLN Gandhi , K. Venkateswara Rao R Venkateswarlu and others would take Part in the meeting.
Rao was born in Brahmanakodur village of Guntur District had become famous as the Dalit and Bahujan leader. He was renowned as a great agitationists. The Organizers of the program have said that they would also hold the Memorial meeting of former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Gasti on the same day at the same venue. (NSS)
