KCR gifts Saries to women for Bathukamma: Ministers

Hyderabad, Oct 10 : Ministers T Srinivas Yadav,  Sabitha Indra Reddy and Ch Malla Reddy today said that only Telangana state is conducting people festivals like Bathukamma,  Ramzan and Christmas in the  state.  At their segments in Santa Nagar, Ranga  Reddy and Malkajgiri they participated in Bathukamma festival programs.
On the occasion they distributed Sarees to women to mark Bathukamma festival and asked them to Corona protocols.  On the occasion,  they said that the KCR government is known for more welfare schemes and spending huge funds for poor.
The government has been offering the sarees by spending Rs 317 cr  to mark Bathukamma festival they claimed.  Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao has launched Bathukamma festival for women to celebrate on grand scale in the state.
They said that no other states in our country are giving such saries among the women.
The minister said that the saries are being gifted by KCR government to mark Bathukamma festival across the state.
The women can get their series and celebrate the Bathukamma festival following corona protocols they said.  As many as 287 designs and colours of saries are ready and being g given to the women as gifts.
The KCR government is implementing several welfare schemes like Kalyaan, Lakshmi,  Shadi Mubarak, pensions, they said. They also said that free power to farming, Rythu bandhu, rythu bhima, two bedroom housing and others.  As many as 287 varieties of designs of saries are produced by the KCR government they said.
No other state government offers such welfare programs as being implemented by the TRS government they  claimed.  They said that 1 cr people are getting the saries as gifts for Bathukamma festival. (NSS)
