Anti-Pharma city committee of Ranga reddy district seeks Justice from Govt

Hyderabad, Oct.16 : The Activists of Pharma city Vyatireka Porata Committee today demanded the state government to do justice to them . They also demanded the state government to release the farmers who have been arrested for agitating on the issue.
They also urged the high court of the state to take up a suo Moto case against ruling TRS party MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy and the state government for taking illegal action against the agitators.
Addressing media persons at city based NSS , the members of the committee kundarapu Narayana and kavula Sarswati alleged that said that the authorities had told them that they had the right to take back all the assigned lands from the possession of the assignees when they all opposed the formation of the pharma city and added that the authorities had promised to not take away the pattas land. They claimed that they did not receive any compensation from the state government for giving away their assigned lands.
They said that they had opposed the decision of the authorities to take away their patta lands and demanded them to follow the provisions of the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 and had approached the HC seeking justice. They said that more than 600 farmers had filed cases in the HC against the decision of the state government. (NSS)
